Sweet Sisters

These two darlings were absolute angels to work with. The littlest lady took about 2 minutes to warm up to the whole situation but then they were both golden! Such good listeners and good sports that we moved very quickly through our session. Their mom just needed Christmas pictures and it was fun to be able to focus on just that! They came today with their aunt, my very best friend, and I enjoyed spending time with them all! They are sugars indeed!
Enjoy...

(I apologize for the large copyright watermark on the horizontal pictures. My computer is having attitude but I didn't want to wait until tomorrow to post your pictures! Of course it won't be on your final prints but I apologize for it being so large on your proofs!).

Noah Bear

What fun to be 1!
This little guy was a blast to take pictures of. He was full of life and didn't want to sit still because he had more important things to do! He is one after all & one year olds are busy little people! He has eyes to die for and dangerous, dangerous dimples...he's sure a heartbreaker! Happy Birthday, Little Man! Thanks for letting me be a part of the celebration!

We. Are. Family!

I had the privilege of working with my own family this weekend. And all I can say is, "WOW!" (the good form of wow, of course!). Despite being unable to get 3 kids to perform all at once, I still think we got some good shots. Notes for the future...feed the baby chocolate & ice cream for optimal mood enhancement, take a valium, turn down the heat!
Family, remember that any photo can easily be black & white, sepia, etc...
I tried to organize these the best I could but blogger was being so very uncooperative! When you order, we'll order from Facebook & you can just comment on the picture you want & what size you want of it! Way easier for you!

B Family Pictures

We took these pictures of my husband's side of the family almost a week ago. I didn't think to post them because I had agreed to give them to the family on CD's, so I knew they didn't need to review them online. But I thought I might like to have them on here and that you might like to take a gander...

The Mighty Hunter

I had the privilege of spending a few hours with my nephew, The Mighty Hunter, this weekend to take his birthday pictures (a few months late--his bday was in May).

He's the king of cheesy grins and hates posing for pictures. But get out the hunting gear and LOOK OUT...the boy's a ham. He'd even suggest poses as long as he had that gun in his hand! I was reminded this weekend what the phrase "all boy" means...because this kid's it! He's 7 now, believe it or not, and just as it's been my pleasure to watch him grow from a chubby, wubby baby, it was my pleasure to capture these memories....

Enjoy!

Just a reminder that any pictures with the name on can easily be done without the name on, any full color can easily be done black & white or sepia. I'm trying to stretch myself a little...for example, even though names on pictures isn't my favorite thing, I'm trying to do one for each sitting because some folks love it. It's not all about me (insert shocked noise!).

9 Month Beauty

This 9 month Beauty is mine! Isn't she lovely? (I'm biased).
In reflection of these sets of pictures I realized a few things: I LOVE taking outdoor photos--the light is so sweet and true and it makes everything look crisp and clean! I also realized that I need to get better lighting indoors. At this time we're working with 2 continuous umbrella lights and no strobes or other overhead lighting and it's showing in my photos (and driving me nuts!). The ones with the black stool seem too bright to me and I love the facial expression and hand on #21 but am aggravated at the shadow on the left cheek. Before we invest in too much more equipment we are looking at making a home studio set-up. Right now we operate with a temporary set-up because that's just what we have at this time as we're just getting started and I'm not willing to put too much more stationary equipment in the house. In time, in time, we'll hopefully be expanding! No matter the minor glitches I still very much love this little gal's 9 month pictures!

Ballerina K Edit Update

My hubby brought out the eyes on this beautiful photo...I love it more now than before! It may be hard to see a difference at this small size but when it is larger it's very pretty...it doesn't hurt that the subject was a beauty either!! Thank you Mr. Beeler!
